Crashing Into The Potomac River

Unfortunately, the bridge couldn’t stop the Boeing 737 from moving onwards. It would head straight into the Potomac River, which was filled with icy and disturbingly freezing water below. The plane would continue to fall downwards, until the only thing that was left behind was it’s tail section, finally breaking off and remaining above water.

Most Died On Impact

Morosely, it was said that both pilots and two flight attendants died upon impact. There were another 74 passengers on board, and supposedly 51 of them would also die as soon as the plane crashed into the river. While 23 were still alive, 19 of them were so horrifically hurt that they couldn’t manage to escape.
