Everyone But Williams Was Saved
Of the six remaining passengers who managed to rise above the water, Arland D. Williams, Jr. tragically couldn’t save himself, despite helping save five others. He had never been able to unstrap himself from his confines, and when the piece of wreckage he had been stuck to ended up rolling under, he went with it, drowning like the others who sadly perished due to the circumstances of this horrific crash.
