A Confession

When police got to Devlin, he was notably quick to confess to abducting the two boys. It would seem that he had no other choice but to admit to his horrible deeds. And slowly, during interviews with both the boys and more so with Devlin, the horrors of what Devlin did to the boys would shock investigators in the extent of torture he did to Shawn. It would now make sense as to why he never attempted to run away or get in touch with his family or the police. As for Ben, in the 5 days that he was in Devlin’s clutches, he was sexually abused multiple times.
