Remembering Benjamin Mitchell
Benjamin’s family has put a memorial up in their home in his honor. People have even added to it, bringing balloons, stuffed toys and candles. The police even shared about him, “Mr. Mitchell has no criminal background. He’s a good person who comes from a good family and was just an innocent victim” His aunt shares that his family had moved to Tampa in the hopes of having a better life. She goes on to say, “He could be himself here. He wasn’t bullied, and kids wouldn’t pressure him into things. He kept out of trouble.”
