A Miracle Happens

It was now close to Maddy’s birthday and Matt was in a car with her. Suddenly, four numbers popped in his head out of nowhere. This was the PIN to Liz’s bank account, something that he had already forgotten. He knew that this was her way of letting him know that it was time to give the little girl a birthday party that she’d enjoy.

Taking a Break

Soon, Matt decided to take a break from work as well. In 2009, he and Maddy traveled to India where he decided to use the next few months to write a memoir. The two months spent there became fruitful and he was able to create “Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love.” Moreover, his blessings didn’t just end there. The book actually became a New York Times bestseller.
