Love Letter

While Matt did gain readers for his blog, his main goal was to talk about Liz. It was his way of documenting the love of his life so that Maddy would somehow grow up knowing how beautiful her mother was. He knew that people knew his story, but he never wrote for them. To him, it was a letter to his daughter, one that was filled with so much hope and love.

Renaming the Blog

Matt also decided to rename the blog to “Matt, Liz and Madeline: All in a 27-Hour Period.” This was, in a way, his scrapbook for Madeline as well. It was filled with entries and pictures that she could look at when she grows up. As for the forum he created, it became a worldwide phenomenon as well. Those who read his frustrations, gave useful advice and went over to his website to get to know him more.
