Different Opinions

Matt’s readers have learned about the new relationship and he wrote to explain to them what exactly transpired. He told them that he hadn’t replaced Liz. She occupied a permanent place in his life. Brooke was there to add more happiness in their lives. Of course, Matt got a mix of reactions. Some felt that he “swept Liz’s memory under the rug” while others were extremely supportive of this new chapter in his life.

Missed Shot

Unfortunately, Matt and Brooke weren’t just meant to be. By summer of 2013, things between the two fizzled. Still, he remained hopeful. For him, so long as Maddy was by his side, he was going to be more than okay. He was there to support his daughter in whatever road she decides to be on. More importantly, life still had a few surprises for him.
