Staying Humble

Matt had received so much praise for being such a good dad. But when he was asked to say something about it, he simply said that he was trying to do what every parent would for his or her child. For him, he wasn’t unique in any way. He was simply caving in to the human instinct of caring for his little one.

Another Chance

After the book, Matt concentrated on Maddy. He never thought that she would have another shot at love. But he did. He started dating a woman named Brooke Gullikson, a volunteer for the Liz Logelin Foundation. Soon, it seemed that life was finally giving Matt a fair shot.
