False Alarm

Despite following doctor’s orders, Liz was rushed to the hospital where she twice thought she was about to have a baby. Finally, she had to undergo an emergency C-section on March 24, 2008. The little girl decided to finally make an entrance into the world despite being two months early. Again, the excited father updated his blog readers.

Successful Birth

After two hours in the operating room, Madeline (Maddy) Logelin came to the world weighing only 3 lbs. 4 oz. The excited parents couldn’t wait to hold her in their arms, but because she was too tiny, the doctors wheeled her to neonatal care where she needed to stay until she was healthy enough to get out into the world.
