The First Time

Everyone felt Matt grief and the nurses at the hospital tried their best to help the father. He did what he had to do until he was able to finally bring Maddy back to the house, and while he did feel Liz’s absence, his little girl breathed life into the home once again. While he did have to cope with the idea of single fatherhood, he knew that this little one was his reason to live.

He couldn’t find it in his heart to remove the wedding ring and every day at around 3:11 p.m., he would always think that this was the time when he lost the love of his life.
