The Gap

Not only did his window give him an incredible view of the ocean, but it was also a window to the infamous cliff in Sydney known as ‘The Gap.’ The Gap, albeit remarkably beautiful and a highly popular tourist spot, it also happened to be a notorious spot for many people to go to when they wanted to commit suicide.

Known As A Suicide Location

While The Gap was really known for its beauty, the amount of people committing suicide from its great heights would be staggering. In fact, it got so bad that between the years 2008 to 2011, the government implemented certain security measures to try to stop people from jumping, but unfortunately they didn’t always work.
