Ortega Survived
Despite her attempt to kill herself, Ortega would also be taken to the hospital and treated for her self-inflicted wounds. The case was so incredibly gory that the detectives had to wonder what could have made the nanny horribly attack those two innocent children the way that she did. Upon Ortega’s arrival in the hospital, her blood would be taken for testing, to see if she was under the influence of anything, but her results would come back negative.
