A Monster Did It
When police officers arrived on the scene, they questioned 3-year old Eric who said that “a monster” had come inside their home and killed his mom. He also said that it wasn’t his dad who did it. Neighbors also shared that they saw a green van with a man inside, park behind the Morton residence, then once again run off into the woods later on. Police would even find a bloodied bandana nearby, but despite all the evidence, they would end up arresting Michael and convicting him of his own wife’s death. He would be given a life sentence, of which he would end up spending 25 years in jail until DNA testing would once again, come to the rescue.
