Nurse Wubbels shares just how ‘overwhelmed’ by everyone’s support she is for her case. She even went on to say, “I think this resonates with people all over, and that’s a really unfortunate problem that we have to fix. I strongly believe that with effective communication and better dialogue between our two agencies that we can potentially make this better.”

Will She Press Charges?

According to Wubbels, as well as her attorney Kara Porter, she isn’t yet sure if she’s going to take ‘legal action’ against Payne. In fact, Potter even said that “a civil lawsuit is not off the table.” For the moment, Porter shares that “She [Wubbels] felt she owed it to anyone this has ever happened to. To every nurse that has ever been bullied by a law enforcement officer who didn’t have the video, so people [didn’t] believe them.” This is to help them get their voices heard as well.
