Where It All Began

At the time of the beginning of their marriage, Anna had yet to finish her master’s degree in Russia so she was going back and forth for some time. But the business that she had set up in London, with her father’s help, was doing quite well. It was a money exchange business between Zimbabwe and London, giving good rates to those living in London who could wire money back home to their families. But one had to wonder, was that really all that it was?

Things Began To Change

According to Alex, when he and Anna had first met, she was a very simple, fun-loving and relaxed girl who didn’t really have expensive tastes. But soon enough, this all began to change. Anna was slowly becoming involved with a particular Russian group of friends, and Alex would never go with her to meet up with them as she claimed, “they would all be speaking Russian” anyway. He felt that she didn’t want him to meet them, more so get to know who they were at all.
