Killers often operate at night. However, this one may not be your everyday, run-of-the-mill murderer. He took a woman’s life in broad daylight. In July 1973, New Haven, Connecticut, the body of a woman named Concetta “Penney” Serra was found in a downtown parking garage. She was discovered with a stab wound to her left chest. The 3-inch deep injury punctured the lower tip of her heart, which caused her to bleed until she died. Who can do this to a 21-year old girl who had a bright future ahead of her?
