The moment Mazzacane asked Downey about Penney, she saw images flash in her mind. She brought herself back to that very day and saw the following signs that were connected to the incident: the color blue and the scent of mechanic oil. More importantly, she said that the clue would come from the blood itself. She said, “Only blood can tell?” But how? What did this mean?
