So if sugar is being compared to actual illegal drugs like cocaine, and even others like heroine, then there’s obviously a reason why people are calling it the ‘enemy.’ Just like the worst and most addicting illegal drugs out there, sugar will make you feel amazing one second, and horrible after. The spike that gives you the feeling of pleasure and energy is the same that’s going to make you crash and burn.
