Why It’s So Addicting
When you take sugar into your body, it releases a chemical called dopamine, which then in turn, omits the pleasure senses of your brain. Since sugar is then associated with the pleasure, it helps make you feel a sense of happiness. Just like drugs, sugar stimulates feelings of pleasure, happiness and gratification. And again, just like drugs, they make you want more, seek more, and look for more. Plus the more you eat it, the more you want.
