19. Rick Warren Earnings Go Up To $25 Million
Richard “Rick” Warren is an American evangelical Christian pastor and bestselling author of many Christian books. He’s best known for The Purpose Driven Life which sold over 30 million copies, making the pastor a New York Times bestselling author, he is also the founder and senior pastor of evangelical Saddleback Church, the eighth-largest church in the United States, located in Lake Forest, California. Warren holds conservative theological views and in a conversation for Newsweek magazine Warren spoke out against evolution and in favor of creationism. He claims traditional evangelical views on social issues such as abortion, gay marriage, and has stressed the importance of abstinence-only education over the use of condoms to prevent HIV/AIDS. Rick Warren and his wife are directors of several non-profit organizations among them Acts of Mercy, RKW Legacy Partners and Equipping the Church.
