26. Rev. Joseph Prince Earnings Go Up To $5 Million
Singapore native Joseph Prince is the senior pastor and one of the founders of the New Creation Church, one of Asia’s biggest megachurches. Prince has preached “hyper-grace” in Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Norway, South Africa and the United States and he’s considered to be the main progenitor of this genre of teaching, which emphasizes the grace of god to the exclusion of other teachings such as repentance and confession of sin because all sin, past, present, and future, has already been forgiven. Prince has published several books, CDs and DVDs and his TV show Destined to Reign is broadcast in more than 150 countries and also streamed online through Internet and podcasts. The Straits Times reported that on 2009 Prince’s church paid one employee over $500,000 in its last financial year. The church responded the report declaring they “recognize and reward key contributors to the church and Senior Pastor Prince is the main pillar of our church’s growth and revenue.”
