39. John Danforth Earnings Go Up To $30 Million
John Claggett Danforth is a retired American politician and has served three terms as the United States Senator from Missouri wrapping up his term in 1995 when he was named by the George W. Bush administration the 24th United States Ambassador to the United Nations. Currently retired from politics Danforth spend the majority of his time as an ordained Episcopal priest. In 2004 the priest leads President Ronald Reagan’s funeral. Danforth has spent part of his $30 million fortune to become part owner of the National Hockey League team, the St. Louis Blues.
