Wild animals, despite being domesticated, are still wild, no matter how they were raised or trained. And people who have the task of domesticating them are at peril since they never know how these beautiful creatures will react. Just take a look at Roy of Siegfried and Roy, the infamous Vegas Show duo whose beloved 7-year old white tiger bit him on the neck and dragged him across the stage leaving him in dire straits. Thankfully both Roy and Montecore the lion lived, but not without enough trauma to last a lifetime.

Slaughterhouses cannot be a pleasant place to work, to say the least. Being inside a house filled with death and killing must take a toll, even for those who have the mental capacity to take it. Plus many of the workers are said to be overworked, usually having to slaughter up to 50 cattle every hour, causing more accidents than necessary given the pace at which they work.
