In Costco, most prices end with .09 (.89, .99, etc.) but bear in mind that a couple price tags signal that customers are getting a particularly good deal. It is important to note that a price ending in .97 means the item is on clearance which means that shoppers are getting a better deal than usual. On the other hand, a .00 or .88 price tags indicates that the manager decided to cut the price since most often than not, it is the last one on stock, does not have a box, or have pieces missing.
