Leave Empty Bottles On The Table

Russians have a lot of superstitious beliefs…leaving empty bottles on a table brings bad luck, specifically loss of money. It would not be impolite to put the empty bottle on the floor, in fact it would be appreciated. Do not worry if you are at a hotel or restaurant, the waiter or server will quickly dispose of it for you.
