Underestimate Expenditures
It is very expensive in Russia, especially in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Do not be shocked by prices in hotels, restaurants, bars, etc. They even have different prices for locals and for tourists. Some restaurants do offer budget-saving meals called “business lunches” which are filling and reasonable.
