Take The Last Shirt

Russian people are very hospitable and will offer you food, accommodations, and, as with old-school Russians, anything you fancy or comment about –nice painting, vase, or even shirt. So be aware of this, so you won’t be guilty of “taking the last shirt” from them. Should you make this mistake, you can always refuse many times…it is considered polite to do so. However, if they insist on giving it to you, might as well accept so as not to offend, but offer them something back in exchange…
