The Many Victims Of Jeffrey Dahmer

During his two-week trial, Jeffrey’s defense lawyer would even try to plead insanity on his behalf to lessen the charges against him. And although one could say that all these horrendous acts were indeed committed by an insane person, to the jury, they knew that Jeffrey was aware of every single action he chose to commit on the innocent lives of his victims. His reign as a serial murderer, rapist, torturer and bearer of all things horrible was finally over, and he was to rot in jail for the rest of his life.

Solitary Confinement

Jeffrey was put in Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin, and for his entire first year, he was in solitary confinement due to the sensitivity of his case, as well as for his safety. But after one year, Jeffrey began to work in the jail and was now allowed time with other inmates. Jeffrey also had constant contact with both his parents, but his brother David had since changed his last name to something else, not wanting to ever be associated with the sociopath that was Jeffrey Dahmer.
