His First Murder

So at the age of 18, Jeffrey would murder his very first victim, a hitchhiker named Steven Mark Hicks. He brought him back to his place and after drinking for quite some time, Hicks had said he wanted to leave. This is when Dahmer decided to bash him over the head, strangle him with a dumbbell, strip him, then he proceeded to masturbate over his dead body. He then buried Hicks the next day, but went back and dismembered him, stripped the flesh from bone, burned it with acid and crushed the bones, which he then sprinkled all over the wooded backyard. It would be years before anyone would ever find it. It would seem that Jeffrey’s life of crime had been born, and he liked the taste of it.

Going To College

It would be another 9 years before Jeffrey would strike again. And in the interim, he would end up attending a semester in Ohio State University for Business. And while it would seem that he was trying to make something of his life, his alcohol abuse was just getting worse. During one of his father’s visits to his college dorm, he would find that not only was Jeffrey not trying very hard, but he was actually spending his days drinking, rather than going to class.
