Enlisting In The Army

Jeffrey would go on to enlist in the army, due to his father’s insistence. And so in January of 1979, he would begin training as a medical specialist. And yet, while he was stationed in Baumholder, West Germany, he would apparently go on to supposedly rape two men. One of which he repeatedly victimized for 17 months. Sadly for his two victims, they never brought him to justice at the time, and only told on Jeffrey after his death. Jeffrey was still drinking to no end, and eventually, he was forced to leave the service after just 3 years.

Going Home

Upon his debriefing from the U.S. Army, Jeffrey chose to move to Miami Beach. There was a possibility that he was actually ashamed to go back to his dad after everything his father tried to do for him, so he attempted to make a life for himself in a warmer state. As always, he drank himself into a stupor and eventually lost the job he had found to fend for himself, and had no choice but to return to his father and new wife in Ohio.
