The Jack-of-all-trades

In the 90s, Ralph was able to start his own business and did quite well. His success could be attributed to his being a jack-of-all-trades. At some point, he was even able to hire some hands for the projects he’d started such as home remodeling.

The housing market plunge

Unfortunately for Ralph, and for thousands of other Americans, the economy suddenly plunged triggered by the crash housing market. People no longer had money to fix their homes. Soon, Ralph could no longer afford his rent, and he was forced to stay at a homeless shelter.
