The last goodbye

They talked for a while, and before saying goodbye to each other, Debra made David promise that he’d keep in touch, although he made sure to mention that there was no phone service where he was headed. Finally, they said their good-byes. It was the last time they spoke with each other.

Divorced and desperate for a job
