2. Schizotypal Personality Disorder (Cluster A Category)

People with this type of personality disorder show peculiar choices in the clothes they wear, the way they speak and the way they behave with others. They believe in outlandish things and are odd and eccentric thinkers, believing that casual events have hidden messages only meant for them. Many people with Schizotypal personalities experience hallucinations, often hearing voices whispering to them. Emotionally, they could respond inappropriately to what situations demand, or could remain indifferent to what’s happening around them. They avoid close relationships and are suspicious of others, making them awkward socially.
