5. Borderline Personality Disorder (Cluster B Category)
Borderline personalities are characterized by highly impulsive and risky behavior such as engaging in promiscuous unprotected sex, gambling, or binge eating. They have extreme mood swings, often as a result of problems in relationships, characterized as unstable and intense, as they fear being abandoned and left alone. They display frequent displays of anger and despite their need to be involved with someone, people with borderline personalities feel empty and have the tendency to hurt themselves or commit suicide.
