Same with the other disorders included in the Cluster A category, Paranoid persons display odd and eccentric behavior. People with this type of personality have difficulty trusting others and are always suspicious of their intentions. Romantic relationships suffer because of the constant suspicion that their partners are cheating on them.

Paranoid individuals keep to themselves, rarely confiding what they feel or think with others because of the fear that what they say can be used against them. Innocent remarks are taken personally as insults, believing that these are attacks directed towards them. Because of this, people with this disorder tend to be hostile, and are prone to hold unfounded grudges against other people.
