Cluster B personality disorders are characterized by dramatic, overly-emotional or erratic thinking, and unpredictable behavior. Antisocial personalities exhibit all of these qualities, which makes the disorder part of this grouping.

Antisocial personalities often show violent and aggressive behavior towards others, disregarding how their actions affect how people feel when they do so. They constantly lie and have the propensity to take what isn’t theirs, going to such lengths as to conceal their true identity just to scam others. Because of their tendency to violate the rights of other people, hey often find themselves in trouble with the law but show no signs of being sorry for their actions. Their impulsiveness and complete disregard for their own safety and those of people around them make for repetitive cycles of bad behavior, which makes it very difficult for them to establish healthy relationships.
