Not Giving Up

In spite of how hard it was to get through all of the treatment, Charlotte had so many people to thank for her success in completing it. It wasn’t just James that showed her love and support, but her family and the medical staff that worked with her throughout it all. Finally, the end of treatment was in sight, something that she couldn’t have been sure to ever reach.

Being Given The Clear

It would be in March 2012 when Charlotte would make an incredible breakthrough. She says, “I was given the all-clear. While I’d hoped I’d feel elated, that moment was bitter-sweet. I was so grateful, but now I was scared of starting my transition back to ‘normality’. Losing my support system of the hospital left me feeling cut adrift.”
