Telling Her Boyfriend

The first thing Charlotte thought to do was to call her boyfriend James and tell him the shocking news. She even said, “I begged him to leave me, as I couldn’t cope with being a burden. He told me this wasn’t an option – whatever I said or did, he wouldn’t leave my side.”

A Rare Form Of Cancer

Not only did Charlotte find out she had cancer at just 21 years of life, but just 10 days after being diagnosed, another bomb would drop. She would be told that her cancer was a rare form, a disease known as Ewing’s Sarcoma. And to make things even worse, her case wasn’t even how the usual form of this cancer would manifest.
