Going Through Intense Treatment

Charlotte would explain, “The tumour was growing aggressively, which meant I’d have to drop out of university straight away to start treatment. I endured ten 96-hour cycles of chemotherapy, then surgery to remove the tumour. It was during the surgery that the surgeon confirmed my cancer had spread to my lymph nodes – the worst possible news.”
