At The Consult

She had gone with both her parents to the consult, but once she heard the heart breaking news, she left them there in order to try to take in the overwhelming news. But despite how much she tried to wrap her brain around it, she just couldn’t get around the fact that she was just 21-years old and she had cancer.

Leaving The Room

According to Charlotte, “I had to get up and leave Mum and Dad in the consulting room. I ran out into the car park – I needed some air, I was hyperventilating. Mum came out to comfort me and Dad stayed to get the information on what was going to happen next. I fell to the floor and was crying profusely, saying I can’t face what’s ahead of me.”
