Dating James

Although Charlotte had known James since they were kids, growing up as family friends, the two would only get together during her first year of university. They were a young, happy and vibrant couple, spending as much time with each other as they could, and in between all the usual stuff going on in the young couple’s lives, they were excited for the future.

Almost Done

By late 2010, Charlotte was already in her last year of law school in Leeds University. Although the end was near, physically, she would also begin to feel strange. In her own words, she would explain, “But then I started to get really bloated – my tummy felt rock-hard it was so swollen. And I could feel a lump in my lower abdomen.” She would go to a number of doctor’s visits, and yet, the conclusions were always the same. They didn’t know what was wrong.
