Typhoon Haiyan, was one of the most powerful and destructive tropical cyclones on record, devastating portions of Southeast Asia particularly the Philippines. Also known as super typhoon Yolanda, the Philippine’s deadliest typhoon in its history, it killed 6,300 people, mostly in the city of Tacloban, Leyte. Bodies were still being found 3 months after the typhoon struck.
