“Odd, unsettling ways”

That same year, students filed a complaint against Amy Bishop on at least three occasions. They accused her of being ineffective in the classroom and of having “odd, unsettling ways.” However, the complaints failed to change the classroom and Amy Bishop’s behavior. Her students had no choice but to endure her unorthodox ways.

Nothing out of the ordinary

On February 12, 2010, no one suspected the harrowing events that would unfold that day. Even Amy’s students described her as “perfectly normal” during class. She then proceeded to attend a biology department faculty meeting where 13 people were in attendance. Even the attendees noticed nothing out of the ordinary in Amy’s behavior.
