A husband’s testimony

Police brought in James, Amy’s husband, for questioning. He revealed several details about his wife prior to the incident. He said that Amy called him to pick her up after the shooting. He also stated that Amy borrowed the gun used in the incident and he even accompanied her to an indoor shooting range weeks before the gruesome crime took place. But despite his seeming involvement in the case, James was never charged with a crime.

The victims

Amy’s murderous spree claimed the lives of three faculty members while injuring three others. Fortunately, there were only a few students in the building when the shooting occurred and none were harmed. What could possibly have motivated such a respectable professor to commit such a crime?
