Three shots fired

At that time, Amy was only 21 and her brother, Seth, was 18 years old. Reports revealed that Amy shot her brother in the chest with a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun on December 6, 1986. The missing case file

After Amy and her mother described the incident as accidental, district attorney Bill Delahunt and a U.S. Congressman decided not to file charges against Amy. In 1988, the detailed records of the incident had mysteriously disappeared. Braintree police chief Paul Frazier, who was already a police officer during the 1986 incident, said that the report had been removed from the files.
