10 years after his graduation from Wharton School, Donald Trump and his Trump Organization was now a force to contend with in the Manhattan properties business, buying a 50% stake in the old and dilapidated Commodore Hotel, joining forces with international hotel chain, Hyatt, and reopening it as the Grand Hyatt Hotel 2 years later.
About the same time in 1977, Trump had another acquisition, that of the heart of Czech Model, Ivana Zelnickova, whom he married and had three children with: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.
