Trump graduated military boarding school with the rank of Cadet Captain from the New York Military Academy in 1964 but unlike West Point or the United States Naval Academy, Donald’s alma mater does not require its graduates to serve in the armed forces.
Trump in an interview once said that his stay at the academy always made him feel that he was in the military, this despite sitting out the Vietnam War after five draft deferments.
