15. The Trump Tower
In 1983, Donald Trump’s dream of making a mark in the New York City real estate industry came to reality, with the completion of the Trump Tower, a 58-story, 664-foot-tall skyscraper on 5th Avenue, that would literally be home to its president and his organization. This photo shows the young businessman holding a scale model of the mixed-use development where apartment units were initially selling for $11 million dollars even before its opening.
