2. The Trump 5

In 1905, after amassing a fortune in the West, Donald’s grandparents, Frederick and Elisabeth, moved to New York where they will finally settle and raise Donald’s father, Fred, who eventually worked in the family business at the very young age of 15.

Three years later, Fred and his mother founded E. Trump & Son, a similar company to that of his father’s but operated specifically in Queens and Brooklyn. It was there that Fred met and married Mary Ann Macleod, with whom he had 5 children, Maryanne, Fred Jr., Elizabeth, Donald, and Robert.
