On January 20, 2017, President Donald Trump was inaugurated on the West Front of the United States Capitol building in a public ceremony witnessed by almost 600,000 attendees. Trump took his oath of office administered by Chief Justice of the United States, John Roberts, marking the beginning of his 4-year term as the 45th President of the United States of America.
